The Macau Society of Health Economics was established in 2024 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the love of Macau in the fields of healthcare, economics, industry, academia, and research.

We firmly support the authority of the Constitution and the Basic Law, adhere to promoting the spirit of patriotism and love for Macao, support the governance of the SAR government, and actively participate in the successful practice of "One Country, Two Systems" with Macao characteristics. The society aims to promote effective and equitable distribution of health services. We value evidence-based decision-making and support the use of scientific and economic methods to evaluate the cost, efficiency, and effectiveness of health services. We encourage innovative research methods and promote interdisciplinary exchanges to form a more comprehensive understanding and response strategies for health economy issues.

Looking ahead to the future, our association will strive to provide a platform for communication and cooperation among the governments, medical industry practitioners, and scholars of the three regions, promote the development of the pharmaceutical and health industry in Macau and the Greater Bay Area, assist Macau in becoming a national regional medical center, and make new contributions to the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical and medical equipment industry''s scientific and technological transformation and regulatory management in the Greater Bay Area.
