Objective: This study aims to understand the influenza vaccination status of the permanent population in Macau and analyze its influencing factors. Method: A stratified cluster sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on the permanent population of Macau from November 16 to 22, 2020. The survey mainly includes basic knowledge of influenza, personal vaccination behavior, and family vaccination. Conduct analysis using chi square test, single factor and multiple factor logistic regression models to explore the influencing factors of the public on influenza vaccination. Result: A total of 2207 residents effectively participated in the survey, with males accounting for 45.3% and females accounting for 54.7%. 62.1% of the respondents stated that they have received the flu vaccine in the past 12 months. 61.0% of the respondents have a low level of awareness of influenza related knowledge. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the older the age, the higher the monthly household income, the higher the education level, the high-risk occupation, the medical staff, the poorer the physical condition and not pregnant, and the population with higher awareness of vaccines are more likely to receive influenza vaccines. Conclusion: The influenza vaccination rate in Macau is at a relatively high level globally. However, it is still necessary to strengthen the education and promotion of influenza vaccination, encourage residents to receive influenza vaccines, and continue to actively promote collective vaccination activities in schools and institutions, fully leveraging the role of community immunity barriers.
