On the afternoon of the 22nd of last month, a delegation from the Macau Health Economics Society visited the Business Service Bureau located in the Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone. The meeting was received by Zhao Jinliang, Director of the Market Supervision Department, and Li Zhaoying, Deputy Director of the Business Registration Department. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on topics such as the Hong Kong Macau drug and device connectivity, drug and device registration and regulation.


The president of the society, Liu Ziming, emphasized the importance of uniting young elites and promoting the spirit of patriotism and love for Australia. He also mentioned that the society values evidence-based decision-making processes and supports the use of scientific and economic methods to evaluate various indicators of health services. Director Zhao Jinliang introduced the achievements of the integrated development of traditional Chinese medicine in the Greater Bay Area, pointing out that Macau''s traditional Chinese medicine has been approved for listing on the mainland, and emphasizing the development potential of the traditional Chinese medicine health industry.

Chairman Xia Sujian proposed that the Macau industry should be encouraged to utilize policies from mainland China and the Shenzhen Cooperation Zone to create more "Macau registered+Hengqin produced" brands and simplify the listing process of traditional Chinese medicine.
