The Macau Health Economics Society was officially registered and established in the Macau Government Gazette on March 20, 2024. The society is a non-profit organization voluntarily formed by professionals in the fields of healthcare, hygiene, economics, industry academia research, etc., with the aim of promoting effective and equitable distribution of health services.



We firmly support the authority of the Constitution and the Basic Law, and always promote the spirit of patriotism and love for Australia. Learn to actively support the governance of the SAR government and participate in the successful implementation of the "One Country, Two Systems" policy with Macau characteristics.



In the early stages of its establishment, we valued evidence-based decision-making processes and advocated the use of scientific and economic methods to evaluate the cost, efficiency, and effectiveness of health services. In addition, we encourage innovative research methods and promote interdisciplinary exchanges to form a more comprehensive understanding and response strategies for health economy issues.



Looking ahead to the future, the Macau Health Economics Society will strive to provide a platform for exchange and cooperation among the governments, healthcare industry practitioners, and scholars of the three regions, promoting the development of the pharmaceutical and health industry in Macau and the Greater Bay Area. We hope to help Macau become a national regional medical center and promote the high-quality development of technological innovation and regulatory management in the pharmaceutical and medical industry in the Greater Bay Area, making new contributions to society.
